41st Annual Tribute to Black Women Luncheon Honorees
- Mary Haynes, Certified Executive/Transformational Life Coach and first African American female to be awarded Stanford University’s Dinkelspiel Award.
- Makisha Boothe, Founder and Head Business Coach of Sistabiz Global Network, a business accelerator for Black women entrepreneurs.
- Dianne Cooks, Founder of Families Against Violent Acts (FAVA), a non-profit organization established to administer preventative and assistance programs to families who have been affected by a violent act.
- Alisha Brown, Senior Vice President of The Foundation for Sustainable Urban Communities and founder of the “Be Well” Health & Wellness initiative.
- (YOUTH) Aliyah Ford, Environmental politics major at Whitman College in Washington and editor for “STEAM’N” magazine, highlighting Black women and girls in STEM-related fields and the importance of diversity in white, male-dominated fields.
We’re bringing in L Joy Williams, political strategist, entrepreneur, and media contributor often seen on MSNBC; Founder of LJW Community Strategies, and President of Higher Heights.
